Transcription: It became evident that the Nazis had decided to terminate Jewish life in Germany after Kristallnacht, when the policy of encouraging Jews to emigrate gathered momentum. Masses of Jews attempted to leave Germany for any possible destination, and the organized Jewish activity that had developed in Germany since 1933 was dealt a grave blow.
